She had to become her siblings' caregiver, and the constant threat of attacks took a big toll on her mental health. Years later, realizing the children in her community were desensitized to violence, Monaliza began waging a war of her own: helping young people break free from the vicious cycle of violence and guiding them towards a brighter future.
